Hi,
My friend is using Philips Dreamstation Auto with humidifier every night. When he travel he does not bring humidifier unit with him, he use only the CPAP unit. He feels that the pressure when using Dreamstation without humidifer are harder and no exhalation relief.
Could you please advise why it is working like this and how to fix it?
Thank you very much,
Hiroto

The pressure, and exhale relief should be exactly the same with, or without the humidifier.hiroto437 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 12, 2018 10:24 amHi,

I'd suggest taking the machine in and getting it tested, it may be defective.
Get OSCAR

Yes, it should be the same. What I do find is that the machine is a lot noisier without the humidifier.
BTW, is he using the same power source when traveling, or is he using the smaller one that doesn't support the humidifier?

Also, does he use the same hose and mask travelling as at home?
