Hello,
I currently have a ResMed S9 AutoSet CS PaceWave with H5i and a heated tube (see pics attached). I'm looking to replace it and will probably buy a used machine to save a few quid. It looks like I will need to buy from America and ship to Ireland so I really need to get it right first time.
Is the "AirCurve 10 VAuto BiLevel with Heated Humidifier by ResMed" able to do the same job (https://www.1800cpap.com/aircurve-10-va ... esmed.aspx)?
Any advice or direct links to equivalent products would be appreciated.
Thanks,
David

Re: Looking for advice re bipap machine
Googling your current machine...
The AutoSet CS™ PaceWave™ is a highly-responsive adaptive servo-ventilator (ASV) that is suitable for a range of central breathing disorders.
The AirCurve 10 VAUTO is not the same.

Re: Looking for advice re bipap machine
So, as LSAT implied, the CS Pacewave is another name for the S9 VPAP Adapt 36007 (older model). the newer VPAP Adapt 36037 is also called the CS-A Pacewave...Hinteland wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 3:44 pmHello,

So, you could find a low usage S9 VPAP Adapt REF 36037, or move up to the AirCurve 10 ASV machine.
The AC10 ASV will give you everything you had on your machine, plus the option of auto EPAP adjustment, to better take care of any obstructive apneas.
The VAuto won't do what the CS Pacewave did.

And do you think that's a reasonable price?
Thanks for your help!
Re: Looking for advice re bipap machine
I don't know anything about that place... but they have the same price as secondwindcpap.com, which has a really good reputation in the community. I know that secondwind ships internationally.Hinteland wrote: ↑Mon Dec 03, 2018 4:44 pmThanks for the info, that's just what I was looking for. So is this the right machine:

Re: Looking for advice re bipap machine
I believe cpapliquidators and secondwind cpap are the same company they provide a great service on used cpap equipment

Possible, though their contact information goes to different cities... though the same state. Do you have some other info?Jas_williams wrote: ↑Tue Dec 04, 2018 2:32 amI believe cpapliquidators and secondwind cpap are the same company they provide a great service on used cpap equipment

Re: Looking for advice re bipap machine
I just looked to see how close Tracy was to Marshall...not quite 30 miles.
And the prices are nearly identical.
Next time I get a chance to chat with the owner of secondwind I might just ask him.
I guess it wouldn't be impossible for them to be sister companies in the same family sort of.
