Last thing - be careful re a 12' hose because above 10' is said to change your pressure and you may need to raise it or find a shorter hose.

Above *6* needs to be compensated for, that's why there's a 3 meter setting on Resmed machines, for those 10 foot hoses.

Good to know! When my friend first told me about the 12 foot hoses I was wary because I figured I would get tangled and make things worse. Hopefully I will get all this figued out soon.

On the other hand, if you put all the spare hose on the floor between you and the machine, you're *MUCH* less likely to yank it off the bedside table.

Also, not sure they make a 12 foot hose... 10 foot yes.

She could be confused... I haven't seen long ones for my machine, but I was just looking on Amazon. My fix for last night seemes to have worked and I also turned my machine around like was suggested.

I have never seen a 12 foot hose...there are 10 foot hoses available and over course I suppose someone could hook 2 of the 6 ft hoses together.
Bear in mind that if you need the heated hose part to prevent rain out....you can't go 10 foot. They don't make heated hoses in anything but 6 ft. Now there are some work arounds that can be done if a person just has to have a 10 or 12 foot hose and really need to prevent condensation.

Lets see how your new setup works for you...might be all the adjustment you need or want.

Oh...meant to tell you...I saw you might be interested in one of LSAT's machines. I have bought I think 3 or 4 machines from him.
Some for me and some for other people that I ended up sending overseas....you can trust him.
If I had the money right now...that machine would be off the market. But I don't have the money right now and I don't really need it as I already have a backup machine.

Um what are you doing that you are yanking on your 6 foot long hose hard enough to move your machine. Since I started treatment I hardly move around at all.

But maybe a net. I think Harbor freight or Walmart has a sort of bungie net thing to strap down your helmet to your motorcycle.

Thank you Pugsy, I bought it or I should say hubby bought it for me. :) Now I have a backup!

I think its me turning over I tend to throw my pillow over and kind of flip after it. Husband always complains I am tossing my pillow on him. I think because the hose on my dreamwear is on top of my head it is getting tossed with the pillow. I need to try the resmed one that comes off the face.

Hey that net thing looks kinda cool. I will have to see if I can find one.

Amazon for the net thing....comes in all shapes and sizes and cheap.
I got a big one to put over the bed of my UTV so that stuff doesn't go flying out of it when I hit a big bump going faster than I should.
Search for "cargo nets" I think it is.

I think I searched for motorcycle helmet bungie and it filled in the rest.
