Also please let me know where you want me to zoom in at. The events manly happen when I am trying to fall asleep. Also can you speak to the waxing of my breath as shown in this pic? It looks like normal breathing then a big breath repeated.

Can you please zoom in on the very first CA/central cluster of the night...make sure some breathing is showing prior to the first flagged event.
I don't want the last cluster like you did above...I want the very first cluster showing the first central of the night with some regular no flagged breathing prior to it.

How was your sleep last night?
How do you feel today?
What medications do you take if any?

I only take a low dose of thyroid hormone, t4 and t3, and melatonin. Sometimes low does of cannabis to help me fall into asleep.

As far as how I feel, a little better. the onset CAs feel less disturbing. I feel like I sleep deeper but not having any dreams. It is like I fall asleep and wake up and it is 6 hours later. I have a feeling that anxiety about thee episodes are making it worse. After looking at some of my older sleepyhead result, although I still had the sleep onset apneas, there was only a few before falling into sleep. My curiosity about the sp02 had me a little stressed.

Probably should be having a nice little chat with your doctor about what is going on.
Sleep onset centrals aren't usually a problem unless the are present in really large numbers, keep you from actually sleeping much, and/or cause desats.
You seem to tick off at least 2 out of 3 boxes.

I don't know if they will reduce over time....once you actually get past them and actually fall asleep you do real well and the doctor may just want to give it some time.

For no other reason than to lessen the anxiety....talk it over with your doctor. See if he is concerned enough to want to try a different machine designed to breathe for you.

A lot will depend on if the cpap pressure is the primary cause of triggering the sleep onset centrals or if you would have them even without cpap pressures being in the mix.
A sleep study done in a lab with a tech in attendance without cpap...would be needed to know for sure if cpap itself is a factor or not.
When cpap is the trigger sometimes the body eventually adjust and the centrals will fade. Sometimes not.
When centrals in large numbers are present even without cpap pressures...not much chance of them fading.

If you were a family member of mine....you would be seeing a doctor and preferably one familiar with this kind of not common stuff.

I am having a similar issue with SPO2 dropping at sleep onset, at the same time being "jolted" awake. I was wondering if you made any headway on this issue (cause, treatments, etc.)?

Please start a new thread - you've replied to one that's 2 yrs old and that poster is gone.

Oh, sorry. Are you a moderator? Do you think if I send a private message to the original poster, he will get an email notification?

I'm having some issues so I did a natural thing by looking for people with a similar issue and reaching out to them. I figured if I start my own thread the chances of those same people seeing it would be slim, so that trying to reach them directly might be a better option...

two things, first, the original poster has not logged onto the forum since december of 2018. second, he would get an email notification if you use the quote feature. and that's only true, i think, if the original poster has his account set up to receive such notification.

oh, guess there is three-no, julie isn't a moderator. she's just giving you some useful advice.
