SleepyHead Software

Post by JoeInNewEngland » Sat Nov 17, 2018 8:00 am

Hello,

Does any one know about SleepyHead software? I just downloaded/installed it and it I try to import the data and it chokes at 66% each time. I'm using a Respironics System One. Looking for an answer here or a website tip on the latest information for this problem.

welcome to the asylum! i don't know the very basic nuts and bolts about sleepyhead. i'm answering so your post gets bumped a bit.

in the mean time; mac or windows?

oh, and just spotted this-

https://sleep.tnet.com/resources/sleepyhead

is this where you downloaded your copy? despite the website showing as unsafe, it's okay. website just hasn't renewed their certificate.

good luck!

How long have you let it sit there?

Do you have plenty of disk space free?

The first time you import, it has to build all the data structures for all the days on your card, and that can take a bit if you've got a lot of days recorded on there.

I would suggest leaving it go and make a cup of tea or something the first import can take an extended time sometimes upto an hour if you have a lot of days there

Sorry I wasn’t clear ... when I try to import I get to 66 percent and then it gives me the “Windows has stopped working” with the back and forth error thing on the screen. In my experience once you see that error it’s done, waiting won’t do any good. Thank you for your responses! I appreciate any efforts to help!!

Welcome to CPAPTalk!

The official copy is at https://sleepyhead.jedimark.net/ not the link in my quote above.

I am not sure of the SleepyHead support status of your machine. There is a testing build for the stalled next version at https://sleepyhead.jedimark.net/
It may work better for you but is unsupported.

Which System One model machine? Model number is a 3 digit number on the bottom of the blower.
