When I first started treatment, I cleaned my mask every day and everything else once a week. Now, I wash our mask cushions every Monday morning. The first Monday of the month, I wash the entire mask including head gear, water reservoirs and strap pads. I check the filters on the first Monday of the month and change them if I think they need it. My wife also has sleep apnea and I do all of the equipment cleaning while she does the laundry on Monday morning.

I've mentioned it a few times. But, it was mainly just this year that I've experimented with it. I've used it as a hand soap for many years, but more recently tried it for cleaning my mask cushion. I find that it is very good at removing skin oils and when rinsed off, it leaves things squeaky clean.

Mask daily as well as face as I need squeaky clean to get a good seal. Silicone parts in Dawn & water, spray with vinegar to get rid of soap residues, rinse well, air dry. Hose, ummm, when I cough into mask from a cold: same as mask. Change filter every month except during our horrendous pollen season when I check it every other week to see if it needs changing. Microfleece strap covers when I remember.

. . . I like my bugs and they like me... 8)
Immunity is an amazing thing; but when we deprive it of challenges,
it may not work as well as expected.
That is why I like dogs so much. They berry their best bone or meat for a weak, then digg it out, eat it and are sick like a dog for a week. That sure gets your immunsystem going. I will not try that one again... it took me over 4 weeks to get better again. May be I should not have waited for a week or chosen a better spot to berry it.

By the way I like to clean my mask, when it leaks too much, with tooth paste. It then smells nice for falling asleep. :)

I like unscented baby wipes--really inexpensive--good for equipment, face,
and what-have-you.
I have yet to see an unscented baby . . .

well, if they were unscented, you certainly couldn't smell them!

Babies either smell like their latest bath, their most recent meal, or what is inside their diaper.
Babies always smell like SOMETHING.
