I think cpap.com will actually set the pressure to whatever the prescription says. Mine was just 4-20 which is what the machine was set to.
4-20 is the factory default setting. It's not an optimal pressure for most people. You might want to get some help here checking it and tweaking if necessary.
Sorry I wasn't clear.
My prescription is a generic one that my primary care physician wrote years ago when I was tired of dealing with the DME. Someone at cpap.com claimed to set the pressure of my machine for me to match my prescription. Which as you point out is the default. If the OP was worried about getting the pressure set it seems like Cpap.com would match it to prescription that is uploaded.
Anyway I did change my range to match my previous machine 10-20.

He never said he was getting a Dreamstation only that he was looking at it. He may not be aware that the ResMed is a better machine.
OK, if you get a ResMed, get the automatic version of that machine. While I'm very happy with my Dreamstation, many here prefer the ResMed. There are also other brands. If you get one of those; make sure to get the automatic.
