I dunno about you, but I think it runs both ways. I think people can be biased for things too.

Also, none of this is happening in a vacuum. My DME is obviously Respironics-biased.

It is what it is I suppose.

Most folk here do not come across with a strong bias; I would place you in that category. However, there are a few who seem to look for any opportunity to snipe; often the ammunition these folk use is a dud.

For the record, I am not especially fond of the decision made by ResMed regarding their pricing and software sales. The machine I have is what I was dealt, following the return of a Compact set at an ill-advised pressure. I saw no compelling reason to push for a different machine, as it seems to be working well for me. Difficulties getting the software and card reader were negligible.

I have found this forum to be a valuable source of information, and have indeed been able to locate much of the information I sought via searching prior posts. I do not intend to become greatly involved as a member of a faction here, and have avoided responding to forum snipers in the past. I pray that I be granted the forbearance to continue in this manner.

...And to all, a good night!

Dsm: Yes, even I undertand this time. What I understand, especially after reading your past posts, is that you can be relied upon to enlighten and entertain! I enjoy gales of laughter every time you post something new.

Thanks so much and, ah, oh ya...
Cheers!

I agree entirely. If you don't like a company's practices, don't buy from them. There's no reason to attack other people as it likely won't change what they do in the future anyway.

My personal favorite are the people sniping ResMed that use Activas.

Compared to some things other companies have done (see Nestlé, baby formula and Africa), I'm really pretty indifferent to ResMed.
