Switching SD card between machines

Post by 808imiloa » Sun Oct 14, 2018 2:13 pm

I currently use a ResMed Autoset 10 and picked up a used Autoset 10 for travel and was wondering how Sleepyhead would read an SD card used between 2 machines. Is it even possible or is it advisable to use a separate card in each? Trying to consolidate sleep report.

SleepyHead won't care. I think I have maybe 3 different machines under one profile.
You can easily see the changes in machines on the main summary statistics page at the bottom.

Make sure you have a different card in each machine, just put the card from your travel machine in your pc after using. Sleepy head will complain if you use both machines within the same 12 hr period between midday and midday only the first inserted sd card will be read.

I agree you will need two different cards. If you move the card from one machine to the other, it will erase the data that is on the card and you will lose any data already on that card.

It erased the data when I switched between the same models. You need an SD card for each machine, but Sleepyhead easily combines them and notes what machine was used and the date.
