OK, I'm reading the link palerider gave me. For some reason, none of the graphic images are showing. It gives me the "Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination" message in their place.

I hit F12 for a screenshot. Here's what I got for last night:

Clarification: Don't eff directions completely. Once you've played with it some and posted some go back and read them. It makes a lot more sense and you can then ask better questions.

This tired grumpy tech incompent old lady figured it out. I am tired and grumpy enough to say eff directions. Once you have imported the data remove the sd card and put it back where it belongs in your machine. Now you can play with sleephead and your data is safe back in your machine. Click on all the little buttons at the top you can't hurt anything your sd card is safe. One of the clicky things takes you to a place that says that says take a screen shot. Click that, now post the screenshot and let everyone tell you what you did wrong and how to fix it.
Sure, if you want to take even longer to get help, and have to go back and forth multiple times..

Well, that's what I get for trying to do things "right" and use the wiki for images. *sigh*

Can you get rid of the 'pressure' graph and put the 'leaks' in there in place of it, please.

Put the mouse over the words that say pressure on the left side a little hand pops up drag it down find the one that says leaks and drag it up. That will give palerider the view he wants. Also they will probably tell you to turn off the pie chart. Click through the top again and one of the buttons I think in view has a check box for the pie chart just unclick it to make it go away.

I tried to check to see if the pics are still in the wiki, and got an error about it having been put in read only mode... only, they broke it when they did it, apparently. :sigh:

Pretty good, 'cept you've scrolled past stuff on the left, but don't worry about that right now.

Leaks are great, pressure's probably too low...

Where'd the settings for your machine come from, what's the problem you're having at this point? (now that sleepyhead isn't the issue :D)

Also, big props for digging up your old thread and continuing it.

The settings have been adjusted remotely from my doctor's office (at my request) about a dozen times since I switched to BiPAP about 10 months ago (after 3 months with a CPAP). The pressure was moved up and down several times as I tried to find my comfort zone, which I think I have. At other pressures I would have trouble breathing or run out of air.

The problem I'm having is that I've noticed no benefit from using the PAP. I'm still just as tired, fatigued, and foggy as I was before I started. If anything, I've been slowly getting worse. I almost never feel rested in the morning. And my near-daily headaches have become more frequent.

So I have to wonder if I'm doing something wrong. Or maybe my symptoms are caused by something else and it's just a coincidence that I also have OSA? Even if that's the case, one would think I'd at least see some small boost from using BiPAP, but I haven't.

Well, first, a matter of terminology, you don't have a "biPAP", that's a generic term used by Respironics for their "Bilevel" machines.

You have a bilevel machine, and a specialized one at that, and ASV. Using the wrong term will make it harder for you to get the right answers.

Second, adjusting an asv so it's 'comfortable' will severely limit it's effectiveness. If you've got central apnea (that's the only real reason to have an ASV) then you need much more than a max pressure support of 6 to adequately ventilate you when you don't try to breathe.

If you have an obstructive component, then a EPAP of 5 is probably too low to adequately handle that, though you don't seem to be having too many events, but having the machine in asvauto mode would likely be better, as would having a higher PS limit.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'm gonna share them with my doctor's office (Colorado Sleep Institute) today and see what they say.
