Hello all,
I've been using the Airfit P10 for about 2 years now. Usually works well, as it gets older I think, or dirty, it works less well, but overall is acceptable. I hate how loose the blue/grey part gets. The clips help until I lose them, and then it's lose again. I was looking on Amazon to purchase a new mask, and the Nuance Pro looks similar, but might fix the problem of the head strap getting lose. It's also about 1/2 the price. Anyone have an experiences with this? How do they compare? Will I likely be good with the Nuance vs the P10?
Also - does anyone have any suggestions for drooling, which has started in the last year, and nasal pain when I wake up for awhile, just where the pillows are. I really don't think a mask is the solution, the pain is annoying but certainly manageable, and I had a really bad habit of taking most/all of my masks completely off.
Thanks!

Re: Airfit P10 vs Nuance Pro
The Nuance has a more adjustable headgear that fits me better, which is what the p10 needs. But the p10 has a plastic frame that fits into the headgear, which I think is a good thing in a pillows frame. The nuance "frame" is entirely fabric, which allows the pillows assembly to easily twist up or down when the hose moves or I change sleeping position. To my mind, its a bad design and I couldn't get the pillows to work for me, which is too bad because the pillows are super soft and fit me well. YMMV.treydawgmt wrote: ↑Mon Sep 03, 2018 11:40 amI've been using the Airfit P10 for about 2 years now. Re: Airfit P10 vs Nuance Pro
I have both the P10 and the Nuance Pro. There are things I like about the Nuance Pro, the headgear being the main thing. What I don't like is the nasal pillows. Like the Dreamwear nasal pillows there isn't much to go into the nostril. The silicone base seems comfy at first but it is worse about scooting to one side and putting pressure in one area. I had more air leaks with the Nuance Pro than the P 10 due to the fact the pillows didn't seal as well and moved around more.
One thing to try is make sure the pillows are squeaky clean. Then take a cpap wipe and wipe your nostril area very well right before wearing the mask. This removes all oils from that area. Which makes all of these nasal pillow masks seal better and move less. I am convinced that the moving around is a cause of irritation.
The Nuance Pro isn't a bad mask. But I do not like that shape for the pillows personally.
If you don't like the head gear of the P 10, maybe try a Swift FX? Should be similar pillows but with a very good headgear?

Re: Airfit P10 vs Nuance Pro
i take it an old pro like you knows about washing and drying the p10 head bands to help shrink them back up?
if so, i apologize.
but is still a good tip for the new folks.
