Hit max pressure first time ever last night

Post by Mark55 » Sun Sep 02, 2018 10:04 am

After getting my first ever 0 AHI a couple of weeks ago, I had an unusual night last night for no particular reason I can put my finger on. Early on, where you see the large leak segment starting just after 2AM, was mouth breathing for sure, as I woke up and turned the machine off to get a good drink of water around 2:15AM. My throat was as dry as a desert, and it kind of surprised me since I thought I had gotten over the mouth breathing bit many months ago.

Right about 3:45AM you see a cluster of obstructive events, and the pressure responds all the way to my max setting of 12 cm. I know 12 is not high for many of you, but this is the first time my machine has attempted to go higher than 8.5 cm, and usually stays around 6.5 most of the night.

This is not concerning me or anything, as I realize we have odd nights from time to time for no explainable reason, but I thought I would toss a couple screenshots up to see if any of you experts see anything that is worth a change in plans so to speak. Thanks as always for the informative input.

There's no point in you having your max set there... Just put it at 20 and ignore the max setting.

I would suggest bumping your min up to 7 though.

Changed my Min to 7cm, and ran Max to 15cm for now. I bumped up the EPR to 3 also.
I'll see what happens for a week or so at these settings. Thanks for looking, and responding!
