Jackr - I don't have anything that complex set up yet. I just got it yesterday. But even so, I live in Baltimore City, and we don't get a lot of extreme weather here. We didn't even lose power during the last hurricane. Eventually I would like to set something like a backup battery up though. Thanks!

Severeena - Thats what I am going to do then, I am going to get a nicer surge protector and use that. My house was built in 1945.
