Oxygen Concentrator Update.

I waited all day for the guy to come and exchange our oxygen concentrator. well he finally got here about 5:00PM then he had the nerve to tell me that the one concentrator is all they handle and this particular company only has this dual set up. I informed him that the Dual 6 is no longer made and the Intensity comes either way dual or single. I love the internet for one reason. I brought up the company and proved to him right on my monitor that this one particular model does come either way and he went green. I knew I would catch them.

I also want to say, when he exchanged a single unit, he brought two units. He hooked up my husband's unit, but only plugged mine in to set the airflow meter. THIS KID NEVER HOOKED UP MY O2 LINE NOR SHOWED ME THAT WHERE THE LINE HOOKS TO HAS A PETCOCK. I AM SO GLAD I KNOW HOW TO HOOK UP LINES. I AM FURIOUS. I am going to call the company tomorrow to complain about this kid. He was a real jerk.[/size]

Good luck, Severeena. I, too, get so darned tired of being told this doesn't apply, doesn't qualify, isn't eligible for reimbursement, etc, etc. It doesn't even give me any pleasure any more to whip out the Medicare info, including coding numbers, that prove them wrong. (Out of respect for MattMan, I won't say prove them a liar - maybe the ones I'm talking to really ARE that dumb - or is it planned ignorance?)
