Hi all,
First post so thank you for a great resource. I've been on CPAP for 10 years.
I've just been issued with the Devilbiss Sleepcube Auto adjust APAP (I think it's also called the IntelliPap) - DV54
I want to buy the extra SmarLink data module by the cost of the software seems very high.
Module: https://www.eu-pap.co.uk/sleepcube-smar ... odule.html (£75 / $96)
Software (kit) https://www.eu-pap.co.uk/sleepcube-smar ... p-kit.html (£121 / $155)
I realise I can use the built in SmartCode for some basic info but i'm struggling so more in-depth data would really help.
Can the module be used with any free software such as Sleepyhead ?
Cheers

Re: Devilbiss / Intellipap Auto Adjust - SmartLink / Software
Welcome to the forum.
The module enables you to use a regular SD card to store the data the machine gathers and then you can use that SD card with SleepyHead software and your own computer. For the most part it is compatible with SH. Some data points are missing because the machine doesn't gather those data points but the bulk of what you need is available.
If you can't use SleepyHead for some unknown reason I might know of a source for the Devilbiss software that is free but try SleepyHead first.

Hi Pugsy,
Thanks for the reply and confirming Sleephead 'should' work, it's much appreciated.
I know, from what I've read, the waveform data is absent from the SD card but even though the machine says my AHI is 3.0 I still feel terrible so more investigation is warranted i think. It's worth the investment hopefully as I know my sleep clinic will try and avoid doing anything.
Cheers

Re: Devilbiss / Intellipap Auto Adjust - SmartLink / Software
I've got the Sleep cube with the data module and the software. Don't waste any of your money on these. The data provided is minimal compared to other data-enable CPAPs and will not enable you to optimize your therapy. I've learned much more since switching to a ResMed and sorry for wasted time & money on the sleep cube. Save the $250 for a proper full data CPAP. Once you're sure of your proper treatment, the sleep cube is a fine backup machine, though.

Re: Devilbiss / Intellipap Auto Adjust - SmartLink / Software
Thanks for the reply and advice. I think you're right.
I've decided against buying the module.
I've spoken to my GP's practice about changing the provider / service that delivers my care, and even though it means a 2hr drive each way, I'll be so happy if I can as the one I have now is no support at all.
If I do manage to transfer they'll likely issue a different machine and take this one back (NHS issue them free in the UK).
