Autostart and P10

Post by lesliegl » Wed Aug 22, 2018 1:01 pm

Hi all!

I've been happily using my Resmed Airsense 10 for Her with a P10 mask for a few years now and had no issues until now.

Things autostart start function is working fine (still), but not only won't things stop automatically when I remove the mask, pressing the top button on the machine won't stop the machine, either. The only 2 things that will stop the machine is unplugging the machine, or disconnecting the hose.

I see from earlier postings that the pillow mask can be a problem for the stopping part of autostart, but 1) it worked until recently and 2) the off button isn't responding.

I'd ask my DME, but I have to use Lincare......

The on/off button should work properly no matter what mask is being used. I know you have Lin(I don't)care but raise hell about it.
It should turn off if you push the button...no matter what mask is being used.
If it has been more than 2 years though....probably out of warranty and not much you can do about it.
I don't know how to fix a bad connection on that switch and it might be easier just to pull the nasal pillow off and let the auto off part do the turning off.
