Straps too small?

Post by snarch » Wed Aug 22, 2018 6:34 am

Hi all, I have a nasal mask (Philip's respitronics Wisp) and the large size mask fits fine but the straps are far too tight on their loosest setting. I have an enormous head, does anyone know a mask with extra long straps?

I also have a pillow mask (Resmed airfit P10) with no velcro, just elastic, and it's so much more comfortable but far too easy to remove. I usually take it off within an hour of falling asleep. Is there a quality pillow mask with sturdier strap construction?

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.

The Wisp comes in the package with the original size headgear but they do offer a large size as a separate purchase.
See this produce page for measurement hints.

Another alternative might be the ResMed Swift FX Nano cushion or the nasal pillow version (you can use either on the frame and headgear so it's interchangeable).
The headgear has a very wide range of adjustments available. The pillows are very similar to the P10 but the headgear is more adjustable.....and the cushion itself is similar to the Wisp cushion.
