Hi everyone. I'm new here and this is my first post. I've been reading the posts quite a bit as I started my journey with CPAP (for the second time) in April.
I switched from a Phillips Respironics to a ResMed AirSense 10 for Her on August 13th. In reviewing my Sleepyhead statistics, I noticed that my Tidal Volume and Minute Vent. are SIGNIFICANTLY lower with this machine. I don't know what this means. Can anyone shed some light on this? Was it bad before and now it's better? Or vice versa?
Thanks in advance.
Jennifer

If you look at the numbers, I'd say that what it means it that the old numbers were wrong.magnetik wrote: ↑Tue Aug 21, 2018 6:12 pmHi everyone. I'm new here and this is my first post. I've been reading the posts quite a bit as I started my journey with CPAP (for the second time) in April.

A tidal volume of 6.87 *liters* just isn't physically possible for a human.
Unless you're a horse pretending to be a human.

Re: Tidal Volume & Minute Vent. Significantly Lower
The charts are way off for whatever reason. But if you look at the median values for tidal volume and minute ventilation, for the last 92 days, they report as normal. 400mL tidal volume is pretty on target for your average female unless you're in the WNBA.
