I also have a backup - same machine model. Case has everything in it and is marked as BACKUP CPAP. That way, if I end up in the hospital, etc. family member knows what it is and won't have to pack anything. I take it out every few months and use it a few days.

FWIW, since my main machine was bought my Medicare and I found out that Medicare covers repairs and loss up to 5 years, I now take that machine with me rather than the backup. Useful though - if I forget my machine at relative's home, at least I have my backup at home to use until my main machine makes its way back.
