Waking up during/right after an event

Post by WillMakeIt » Thu Aug 09, 2018 1:15 pm

Hi all,

I have been pretty compliant with my AirSense AutoSet. Issues come and go. For instance one night my mask fit is bad, the next time it seems better. Anyways, I have noticed recently that I have been waking up at least once a night. It's pretty annoying. Last night I apparently woke up, took off my mask, and went back to sleep. This used to happen almost every night one and a half hours into my sleep, but it has subsided until last night.

Sleepyhead shows that, correct me if I'm wrong, that I am waking up right after or during an event. Perhaps I am reading the "AHI" section of the graph incorrectly. But clearly it shows that when the AHI spikes, I wake up and take the mask off.

Here's a screenshot. The screenshot isn't of last night, but the night before.

Thank you.

Forget the AHI curve - it's not very helpful.

Sit at your screen and zoom in on the Flow Rate graph - example below. If you still have questions, post again including a zoom-in on the wakeup/apnea in question.

I wish I had a chart like yours and woke up only once a night....that's after 10 years on CPAP.
