Question,
I LOVE my dreamwear ffm. I have been able to cut the leakage of air significantly. the question i have is if anyone cut the mouth area of the mask?
The bottom of the mouth opening rests right on my lower lip. I would like trim a little of the mask to make it a little bigger and so the mask is not right on my lip. I just worry that any modification will make the mask unusable.
Thank you.

You would likely ruin the cushion trying to cut it, but if it isn't working for you as it is you have nothing to lose by trying.
A far more likely scenario is that you need a larger cushion, a larger frame or maybe even both. If it was fitted and dispensed by a DME I'd go back and have them make it right.

I love mine too, but it leaks like a sieve. 57% leaks last night. Finally I changed to my nasal mask. No more leaks.

The only time the lower edge of the mask cushion comes close to touching my lower lip is if I forget to put on my soft cervical collar and my mouth drops open.

I would suggest ordering a new cushion as a back up and then trying it on your old cushion. If it works, you'll know how to modify them, and if it doesn't work, you have a new cushion ready to go.

Mine is quiet as long as the blankets aren't in the way of the air flow, but I go to sleep in a perfectly positioned mask. Then all of a sudden my face shape shifts ....... who knew that was possible. Funny tho, the wrinkles never disappear.
Cushion are expensive in Canada $65 although $25 on ebay.
