I'm a new user of Respironics M-Series Auto Machine. I want to ask is there have time clock inside the machine? Do I need to adjust the clock & how can I adjust it to a right time to my country?

There is a clock inside the machine. However, it is set at the factory, and from what I've read, cannot be reset without going back to the factory.

Your DME provider should have set it for your time zone, and toggled (as appropriate) whether it shifts for daylight savings time.

It is set to GMT at the factory, it's not a clock to go to work by. It probably doesn't keep correct time, most don't, Encore Pro and your computer, convert the data to time. You can set the time of night you sleep in the program. Jim

Like Goofproof said......the internal clock is set at the factory to GMT. If you're downloading the data from the smartcard, the Encore Pro software converts the GMT time to your computer's timezone. The machine time cannot be adjusted by the user.....it has to go back to the factory (through the place you bought it from). Typically, the REMstar machines lose a little time on their internal clocks. By my guesstimate, about a minute a month.

They have a two year warranty. If the clock is really behind by that time, send it back before the warranty expires. It'll only cost you the shipping.

Best wishes,

Thanks Wulfman. It cost me $200.- for the shipment from cpap to Hong Kong where I live. So if I send it back to cpap for adjustment, it will cost double which would be enough to buy a new one as well. But anyway thank you for your reply.
