As a child?!?

You think my snoring is the real reason my wife Janet rarely sleeps in the same bed with me?

Seriously, I was not for an unusually long period, that is to say, later in life than is surprising.

My brother, on the other hand, until quite late in his childhood (I remember him doing it in the house we moved into when he was 11) had a bit of a problem.

Actually, he had a dual problem of bed wetting AND being the worlds most difficult person to awaken. Oh, and sleepwalking, which often led to any receptical that could even marginally pass in his subconscious mind as a toilet being used for that purpose.

More information than was probably asked for, but because on at least one occasion I was awakened when my bed (with me in it) was used in said fashion, I feel some need to get this out of my system.

Liam, who'd rather be p***ed off than p***ed on..

Hmmm. On reading back, a few other people have made the "Who says I've stopped" joke or variants on it.

So let me amend the start of my previous response...

"As a kid? No, but I've got plans to start early in my 80s."

Liam, whose answer DEPENDS.

First define bedwetter.

I think the vast majority of children have wet their beds at some time or another. Does this make them bedwetters?

If my memeory serves me correctly, I probably wet the bed a handful of times during my early childhood. Was it chronic? No.

bed wetting

Not moi. afaik.
This is very interesting, but I am not sure how accurate this poll would be in forming opinion of the problem in the general population.

I wonder if this would help in understand bedwetting in general or if it would show children with BW having apnea as a child and ALSO had apnea as an adult.
Intuitively, I would think the dynamics in children with osa may be different than adult onset. Maybe structural in children and weight more important in adults with little connection. Sheer speculation.

The next thought is that adults without treatment will have many nightly pit stops and the same is true in children and they lack the ability to get up and go to the potty. I would bet this is likely, but a large study would be needed to definitively answer this.

Now lets get back to 24/7 on Anna Nicole Smith or the latest on Paris Hilton.
Im gonna turn off my TV and get a good book. Maybe Liams ebook.
But then I get enough laughs watching funny things serious people do,

Based on your profile picture, shippy, I'm surprised they didn't just rub your nose in it.

Liam, not an expert in animal behavior.
