Newbie suffering with horrible gas pains

Post by Artmom » Mon Jul 23, 2018 5:24 pm

I just started using the ResMed AirSense 10 Autoset For Her Elite CPAP. I have a full face mask and I’m experiencing really bad, what I’m guessing are air bubble pains after just a couple of hours use. Any suggestions? I’m using the smart start option with a humidifier.

There's no such thing... look on the front of the *machine*... not on the manual.

What are your settings? Pressure? Using the ramp? Using EPR exhale relief?
If unsure..this manual explains how to get into the clinical menu setup area where you can see all the settings.

It's fairly common and there are some things that can be done to reduce it. We call it aerophagia.

Once we know what your settings are we can maybe come up with some ideas to help reduce the symptoms.
