Help with Encore Pro 1.6i

Post by Paul B » Tue Feb 06, 2007 10:19 pm

I just installed the software and the card reader driver and inserted the smart card and I can't get the card to download the data. The LED turns green on the reader and then red but I don't see the data as downloaded and am unable to get at the data. Any ideas?

Paul

Paul,

I can't help you with this but I am responding to "bump" this back to the top so that some of the computer folks will see it. It was getting lost at the bottom of the page.

Good luck and I hope someone responds very soon.

Gilda

Did you create a patient for yourself, and click on it?

Did you go into Encore Pro, and tell it to use the smartcard?

Also you need to run the Do Not Erase program from the disk to keep data on the card.

The reader needs to be hooked to USB directly on the computer, powered hubs confuse it. Jim

Probably why no one tried to help is there are so many ways to mess it up.

You might try the light bulb, answers are all over the board.

Use data to optimize your xPAP treatment!

Thanks mommaw and Jim,

Jim, I didn't do some of those things but I'll start fooling around with it now. Thanks a million for your help. I'm usually pretty good installing software, but this was not very intuitive at all. The documentation should be clearer.

Thanks again Jim.

Got it working finally. Thanks! There's an incredible amount of data available, much more than from Autoscan software from Resmed and organized much better.

All in all, I'm getting better therapy, much more comfortable, sleeping longer and better rested, than with my Resmed Vantage. I'm now a big believer in Respironics and the M Series Bipap Auto.
