I got the app working again....

I went into Settings --> Apps on my Android phone and opened the DreamMapper app.... I noticed that under Permissions, Storage had been turned off. I turned it back on. (This might have happened during the last update of the app).

I deleted the Cache for good measure, closed Settings and opened the App. Joy...

If my phone wasn't allowing DreamMapper to store its data on the phone, that would account for the app freezing after downloading via Bluetooth.

Thanks Pugsy

I don't bother with the website. I like the app for just a quick check as it gives a little more info than the LCD screen does. Sleepy head is kinda difficult for me because I have to pull out my laptop to use the sd card and its not easy with my disability. Oh well, back in the day the machines didn't tell me anything so whatev.

I’ve been having issues as well, but last time I posted about it on here I got my head ripped off about it because apparently it’s an app handed down from God that never has any problems.
No...you just had the misfortune of tangling with a new member who ended up being just a troll and he won't be bothering people again. All he wanted to do was stir up trouble just for the sake of stirring up trouble and discord. He picked the wrong person to tangle and threaten.... Image

Most of the long term forum members here think it's a POS and don't bother with it. I tried it for grins once and I didn't like it wanting to call home and make my computer do things without my choosing it to. It was a bitch to get rid of.
I don't like any application trying to do anything without my telling it to.
I never could see the fascination with the phone apps...but each to their own I guess.
People can see pretty much the same thing on the LCD screen and even more if they want to use the software and they can even use a special wi fi SD card if they wish so they don't have to even pull the SD card. .
It's not all that much work to see the extra details using the software available.
What you see from the website...pretty lame IMHO but again...each to their own.

I've gotten unable to reach server errors two days in a row. I sent an email to support. No response. I will try again when I get home. I am using iOS devices. This happened about a month ago and I sent support an email thru the app and I received a reply that they knew there was a problem on their end. It ended up getting fixed the next day.

As far as usefulness, I kind of like seeing the AHI score in the morning. Kind of like checking the late baseball scores. LOL! The AHI score in the app generally lines up with what SH says. So I guess it's good for a brief overview of how the night went. As someone said earlier in this thread, to use SH, I have to remove the SD card and take it to me office as I have SH loaded on my laptop at work. I don't use a computer much at home so the app is nice to see where I am.
