Hello,
Long time listener, first time caller.
Can anyone please tell me what size the head of the tamper-proof screw is on a ResMed Escape S8?
This is not my primary machine, and I have a need to get inside of it.
Thank you,
DL

Beats me, but the S9 uses a T10, not a tamper proof at all.dlucibello wrote: ↑Sat Jun 23, 2018 8:56 pmHello,

It is a Torx screw. Home Depot or Amazon for a whole set @ $5-$15.

Re: tamper proof screw ResMed Escape S8
I will need a long shaft to get to the screw, and it is definitely tamper proof torx. But each tool cost money, so I would like to just buy the right one once I knew the size.
I know that it is an old machine, but it is the one that I need to take camping (12 volts DC).
Not sure about the whole set, thank you though. May be someone who services them may come along and let us know the specific size.

Does it have a pin in the middle? if not, it's not a security torx.dlucibello wrote: ↑Sun Jun 24, 2018 1:47 amI will need a long shaft to get to the screw, and it is definitely tamper proof torx. But each tool cost money, so I would like to just buy the right one once I knew the size.

Regardless, screwdrivers are readily available.
Take the unit with you, and try different ones till you find a fit.
