AHI increasing near end of sleep

Post by sosovivian » Tue Jun 19, 2018 7:23 am

Hi,

I am a new joiner to this forum. I have been using Dreamstation CPAP for 2 months but my AHI keeps between 5-10 and I am not able to drive it down to below 5. Lately I realize that the AHI will be below 5, only when I woke up earlier than normal. Then I find this SleepyHead software today and analysis my AHI pattern and notice that my AHI will usually grow towards the end of my sleep. Do you have any hint why is this happening?

My original AHI is 44. However actually I feel not much difference between and after treatment.

Thanks in advance!

Are you having problems falling asleep and/or staying asleep?

How many wake ups approx? How long does it take to go back to sleep if you do wake up during the night?

We don't need the AHI graph. Might put the leak graph in its place. We can already easily see the clusters of events just by looking at the events graph. No need to redo these images though.

An example of AHI lower than 5, but just because it broken into 2 sessions - each is still increasing on its own.

Hi, I don't have problem falling asleep or staying asleep. At most I would wake up once per night only, and if so, usually it's just my wife's movement causing it.

I've attached the charts again with leak graph. Thanks.
