Soft nose buds

Post by dbrew1974 » Fri Jun 15, 2018 11:14 am

Is there anyone who has or uses the soft nose plugs that like them or has had a good experience with them.

Welcome to the forum.

Are you talking about the nasal pillow masks that rest gently against your nostrils and have only a tiny little inner cone that goes up inside the nostril but just barely and doesn't touch the inside of the nose at all? See the link to the mask that I have in my equipment profile...it's a nasal pillow mask and lots of pillow use this model or one of the other many models of nasal pillows quite successfully.
It's probably to most used mask type of any of them.

Or are you talking about what we call the nasal prong type of mask and it actually does go up inside the nostril and touches the inside of the nostril everywhere inside?
It's used by a few but not very many. The fit has to be just perfect. The seal is obtained by the inflation of the little prong thing up inside your nostrils. If too small it won't seal. If too big once inflated it hurts like the devil. If a person is like I was..and in between size they won't work at all.

Or perhaps the Philips-Respironics nasal pillows with gel.
