Update caused problems
Update caused problems
Since the update, I’ve lost the option of adjusting the temperature on my AirSense 10 Autoset. Is there an update to fix this problem?

I don't have a AirSense but others will be along to hopefully answer your question. You might not receive replies until tomorrow though. Welcome to the forum.

Re: Update caused problems
I have no idea what "update" OP is talking about. I wasn't aware that the AirSense had a recent update.
I am wondering if maybe the DME made some adjustments to the settings and changed the humidity setting to "Auto" which would have turned off the temperature control part of the humidifier settings.

I think the user can change that though. It only applies with a heated hose, if I recall correctly.Pugsy wrote: ↑Fri Jun 15, 2018 12:16 pmI have no idea what "update" OP is talking about. I wasn't aware that the AirSense had a recent update.

Sounds like they used to be able to set the hose air temp and something was done and now they can't.
If no one told them how to get to where they can make the changes they won't know.
And yes...there is zero hose air control if not using the heated hose.
We need more information from the OP...I wasn't aware of an update but maybe there was and the machine reverted back to the default settings and that would be Auto if the heated hose is attached.
With Auto being selected the machine determines humidity and hose air temp based on ambient conditions and it has to be taken off Auto for the choices to be made available.

Re: Update caused problems
I remember first seeing those settings when I got my heated hose. I had started with the slimline. That was before I accessed the clinical menu.

Re: Update caused problems
I do have the heated hose and was once able to control the temperature. This option is no longer showing on the menu and I have no idea where to find the auto setting in order to change it. If anyone knows, please advise.
Re: Update caused problems
Go here and get the manual.
It explains how to get into the clinical menu startup area and make changes.

Bear in mind that the heated hose has to be connected also. If the hose isn't plugged in you won't get the temperature settings.
It sound like the setting got changed to "Auto" for humidity and it needs to me manual/patient for temperature choice to become available.

Re: Update caused problems
Thanks sooo much for the link to the manual.
You were right; it had defaulted to the auto setting but I was able to change it in the Clinical menu. Thanks again.
