I'm on my 2nd year with my Airsense 10 CPAP machine and have used the ESON 2 nasal mask since the beginning. However, lately, even after buying another ESON 2 mask, I'm noticing that I have to have it on pretty tight to avoid any air leaks in the bottom corners of the mask. It's actually fine when I first turn on my CPAP at night but as it ramps higher it pressure, the air starts to leak in the corners a little bit making it quite annoying as I can hear it slightly.
As a result, I'm setting the mask tighter but then find that I'm getting some teeth and sinus pain over the past few weeks. Any ideas/suggestions/recommendations?
Thanks

Look at mask 'liners' on Padacheek.com...

Hi...
You shouldn't have to cinch a mask that tight and on some masks...tighter is worse. That Rollfit cuff is supposed to be flexible and conforming and you are probably squashing it so it doesn't work as designed.
As Julie said, a liner should help. To try it tonight...just cut a gasket from some soft fabric (like T shirt cloth). Helped with my leak issue.

You're not alone.
All my masks have done this to me. I can keep them from leaking while I'm still awake, but once I fall asleep and my face muscles relax, I'll wake up with air leaks from any of a variety of places.
My sleepyhead data shows zero leaks one night, and the next, I've got huge leaks and it's odd because I didn't loosen the headgear.

Re: ESON 2 - Too Tight or Air Leaks
I am having this issue with my new Dreamwear Fulll Face Mask. When the pressure on my Auto CPAP hits 12 to 13.5, air will start leaking out the sides of the mask and make noise thus waking me up. I've tried it loose and tighter. Tighter seems to be the only thing that works sometimes. Could it have anything to do with the Flex settings on the Dreamstation?
Thanks for any thoughts.

No. All the use of Flex does is drop the pressure a little bit upon exhale.Gator5000e wrote: ↑Fri Jun 08, 2018 9:48 amI am having this issue with my new Dreamwear Fulll Face Mask.
