I expect to get an APAP machine next week, probably using a range of 9 - 13 cm H2O. If I have a choice between the Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset and Autoset for Her, is there any reason I should not prefer the Autoset for Her? My impression is that the two models are the same but the "for her" has an additional option with different pressure increase algorithm, and that I can select the option to run in "for her" mode or "regular, for him" mode. Is that correct?
Thanks for any recommendations.

Re: Autoset or Autoset for Her?
You are correct.
The Regular AutoSet is 2 machines in one. cpap fixed mode and auto adjusting mode.
The for Her AutoSet is the same 2 machines in one as the regular PLUS the additional second auto adjusting algorithm.
If cost is the same (and it should be if insurance is involved) get the machine with the 3rd option. You may or may not need it or even like it. But again it might come in handy. Better to have something and not need it than need it and not have it.
I have the for Her AirSense 10....and I have used both auto/apap algorithms and I rather like the special for her mode.
It is just a little different than the other apap mode. I do well with either so it's not a deal maker or breaker for me but I rather like what it does.
