F20 and Coughing
F20 and Coughing
I have found that coughing in my mask sucks. It screws with the seal. if i'm still awake i find myself disconnecting the hose quickly to cough. The thing that sucks is that if i don't do it quickly, my machine will turn off. If it's ramped to the high setting it starts all over again to the lower setting. Sorry for the rant. I've had this persistent cough the last few days.

Have a nasal only mask on hand for such times, and/or turn the ramp feature off entirely - you don't 'need' it as therapy.

Re: F20 and Coughing
I have a full face as a back up. I thought I would need it for times when I have a cold. The problem is what you had mentioned. I had to pull the mask off every time that I would cough. Half way through the night I decided it was just easier to use my nasal mask. There is something about the humidity and the nasal mask that helped me breath better.
