Runny nose upon taking mask off?!

Lately, when I wake up (humidifier on lvl 5)
I take make my mask off and bam, runny nose within 5 mins. Stops in about an hour

Anyone experience this? What could it be?
Also itchy throat.

The standard advice is to try more humidity or try less. Since you appear to be at your max, try less.

I don't believe that your unit is compatible with a heated hose, so that's not an option here.

Of course, make sure that you filter is clean.

Your body gets used to clean filtered air as your use your nightly XPAP, in the morning, here comes the dirty pollon - mold filled air! Result the nose runs, as the day goes on the body deals with the invaders. Jim

I get this every morning.
My solution: a box of tissues on my nightstand.
A good, thorough cleanout in the morning, and I'm good to go.
Before I had enough humidity, it was a sneezing fit after getting up.
Every morning. I like this better.

I had a horribly runny nose for the first several weeks, gradually improved over several weeks. I had to play with humidifier levels.
