So with most of you saying you don't wash your mask or humidifyer daily like I was told to. How often do the rest of you clean those things.

weekly, with a nightly quick wipe.

With my current set up...

Nose piece is cleaned daily.

Humidifier tank is checked every time I fill it. If it is slimy or if I can see something is off, I will clean it. If nothing is going on I simply rinse it out and refill.

Headgear and hose covers are washed about every 2 weeks to a month.

Hose is washed and rinsed about once a month.

I should point out that I travel and have more opportunity than most to get "dirt" inside my hose because I am frequently taking everything apart and putting it back together at the next place I am staying at. I will also mention that when washing my hose I schedule it just before bed and never dry the hose. I just shake the excess out and mask up. By morning it is dry.

Mask Cushion....Wipe daily with baby wipe....Wash every month
Mask/Headgear....Mask,twice a year...Headgear, never.
Hose....Never wash
Humidifier Cup....Top off ever other night..rarely wash.

Been doing this for 10 years

Wrap mask and hose in a towel, and put crumpled dry paper towels inside the reservoir.

I really would rather have everything bone dry in the carrying case, not have damp paper towels. This is especially true given that I use distilled water at home, but am not always able to do so while traveling. Tap water or bottled water can provide a growth medium for nasty organisms. Therefore, it's best to keep everything bone dry (especially the interior of the travel bag).

Suit yourself, but stop trying to scare people into being as paranoid as you are.

When cleaning the mask. pay particular attention to be sure the vents are clean too.

I know the P10 pillow vents are quiet but tend to get dirty since the vents are so fine.

Clogged vents would really be problematic! I never had that happen, but it would be very bad if it did!
