"Topic Reply Notification".....is it broke?

Post by Wulfman » Sat Feb 03, 2007 11:20 pm

I've had my "Topic Reply Notification" (by e-mail) turned on since becoming a member of the forum. I've noticed that I haven't been receiving any e-mail notifications for the last two days (since 02/01/07) and was wondering if anybody else has experienced this.
(BTW, I DID go into my profile to check that it is still turned on.)

Actually, this is the category in the profile options:

Always notify me of replies:
Sends an e-mail when someone replies to a topic you have posted in. This can be changed whenever you post.

Best wishes,

Den

Den,

I haven't had notifications for at least 2 or 3 days.............maybe more. I'm surprised when I log on to find posts on subjects I was watching but not notified about. Oh well, I'm used to being "outside the loop".

Hi Den,

My topic notifications have been working as well. I have been getting logged out of the forum all the time though, which I gather from others posts is a fairly common problem. The topic notifications is a great feature of this forum.

Peter,

Mine worked with your post! That was the first one in days, as I previously mentioned. Maybe you just needed to push it off high center!?!?!?

Den,

I received a 'reply email' to a post that was MONTHS old, and one to which I'd already responded.

Go figure!? .

Check whether they are going into your "Junk" or "Spam" email folders.

Nope! Already checked that. Lots of OTHER spam getting through though.....

I e-mailed and PM'd the Forumadmin this weekend to look into it.

Thanks,

Den
