To warm up the air going to you without using the humidifier, go into the settings and turn the tube tempature up to what is comfortable (you will need the heated tube) .. I don't use the humidifier either and am getting warm air... You had great results last night, hope it continues for you..

Is there a way to warm up the air going into my nose? I don't use the humidifier, I am sleeping fine without it and don't really want to have to deal with water tank, cleaning, etc.

And for my irritated nostril area, is it okay to put chapstick or a cream there, or will that harm the pillows?
A heated hose could help. It is normally used to heat the air to prevent rainout from the humidifier but it does not require you use humidity.

Thanks! I’ll try the temp setting first. I don’t remember seeing that option but I’ll go back and take another look.

I’m one month in doing well, overall, I think. I do have more sustained energy throughout the day and wake feeling better rested.

You need the heated hose for the temperature to show up.

Lansinoh lanolin ointment/cream
Found in the baby aisle of stores like Walmart.

Lanolin. Pure lanolin, used by nursing mothers everywhere for sore nipples. Just a tiny tiny dab (as if applying chapstick) around the nares before you put on the mask will help prevent the chafing. Your nose may still be sore for a few days but it will toughen up over time.

Also, don't get rid of your M cushion just yet. The P10 pillows tend to run small in comparison to other masks, so you may find yourself switching back to it at some point for a better fit, but if you're sleeping well with the S and not having significant leaks you may be ok.

I got the lansinoh. Great stuff and has helped a lot.

I also got the heated tube. Humidifier off. Climate auto. Temp 81. It didn’t seem to work. Should I switch the setting to manual instead?

Just turn the tube tempature up to what you want .. Mine is 2 clicks from the max and works great, no humidifier, using the side panel ...

Make sure that the pillows are resting lightly against the edge of your nostrils. The tip of the pillows should barely penetrate into your nose.

Lanisoh will help, and make sure the straps aren’t too tight. See my Swift FX fitting tips.
