That Papsmart deal is fantastic, thanks for posting it, Dave. Probably the best online price in Canada at the moment for that model along with a mask. The Kijiji ad doesn't include a mask, and the used ones it does offer are overpriced IMO. (as I recall haven't looked at it this morning)
Without a mask or a heated hose (regular slimline I think), Cpapoutlet sells the Airsense 10 Autoset for her at $805. Cpapmachines has a similar setup to Papsmart for $100 more at $899. I have had good purchase experiences with Cpapoutlet, MonsterCpap and Cpapmachines. Papsmart doesn't list an address...I think that they are out of either Montreal or GTA. I am leaning towards the $805 deal at Cpapoutlet as a backup.

I have a used REMstar Plus with C-flex and humidifier all the paperwork and manual plus a couple of extra filters if you are interested...

It doesn't have all the bells and whistles the new machines do but it is better than what you have now ..... which is nothing.....

The price is right...... you pay for the shipping and it is yours......

Use this one until you can afford some of those nice deals that were posted here earlier....

Let me know if you are interested......

Currency exchange US$1=CAD$1.28. Brokerage fee would likely be added.

Cpapoutlet in Canada sells the Dreamstation Auto with standard hose and humidifier for CAD$710. Free expedited shipping too. They also sell the Airsense 10 Autoset with standard hose and humidifier is a bit more at CAD$810. For Her is CAD$805.

No brokerage fee if the USPS is used instead of FedEx or UPS.

If they choose this be sure to mark it as a gift since you’re not charging for it. You will need to guess at the value of this older used machine though.
There would be a small customs firm needed. I have mainly used UPS when sending to Canada but USPS is similar.

The 'Plus' model does not give useful data, certainly not useful to get Sleepyhead results (with which to titrate at home and/or tweak pressures, etc).

If you are still interested in a limited data machine, click the bubble beside "Contact" to start a private message with Lou about shipping cost.
In order to calculate shipping Lou would need your address information and it is not a good idea to post that information in a public forum.

For USPS all is needed is a rather small and simple customs form.
And yes...all you say is "used cpap machine" for product description.
Mark it as a gift.
There is no CPAP RX police involved at customs...either leaving the US or arriving in Canada. No one cares about the RX thing at either end. Now Japan and some of the other countries might care but not Canada.

You do not need to be too specific. It is just to be cure customs are paid if required. I think the USPS form is sometimes a sticker on the package. IIRC the UPS one is perhaps 1/2 page wit most places left blank.

I hate to see student start out with a straight CPAP machine with no Sleepyhead data. He hasn't been titrated. This sounds like a recipe for failure and developing a hate of CPAP.

What would you do? Set it for 10.0 pressure and cross your fingers?
