I sleep like a baby every night.... by which I mean I wake up screaming and hungry about every two hours, and can't be consoled until I get to suck on a breast.

True story: I walked into a convenience store at 1:30 AM nearly two decades ago to order a fresh turkey sandwich from the Deli counter. I was young and very foolish about snacking back then, whereas now I am older and marginally less foolish about snacking. Anyway, the clerk behind the counter turns and queries me for more details about the turkey breast sandwich he was assembling: "With or without the nipples?" he said with a drop-dead serious look on his face. At the time I wasn't sure if he was just a comic genius with timing and delivery, or absolutely clueless about the mamalian physiological principle. My only response was to laugh. I laughed so hard I couldn't even answer him. I was still laughing as I took my wallet out to pay, and laughed all the way to the car as he smiled and winked knowing he had pulled off what I would later come to think of as a "Liamism".

How does this relate to sleep disorders you say? Turkey has tryptophan in trace amounts---and tryptophan in vast amounts are known to make us sleepy. Liamisms in trace or vast amounts are known to make us laugh.

I've read that most of the trace amounts of triptofan found in turkey breast is in the nipples. If you don't get the nipples, you don't get the triptofan. Maybe Liam is trying to get his triptofan fix by waking every 2 hours to suckle a breast.

LOL! He appeared to be a man, perhaps in his sixties---which just proves Liam will go to great lengths to make us laugh. He will even drive to your home town decades before meeting you, disguised as a much older man, to make you laugh if that's what it takes. You gotta just love him for that!
