Infinity HC 481 - what compares to this nasal prong mask?

Post by GunitEdna » Thu Apr 05, 2018 8:02 pm

:) I need to find a replacement for this old mask - what compares? Opus 360 or Aloha?
I use the Infinity mask without head gear, inserted in nose. Cpap is a Remstar pro,
cflex machine, pressure is set @ 6!

Can you give suggestions?

Cpap.com says there is a newer model available - https://www.cpap.com/cpap-masks.php

You might also want to view other masks on their site.

There's nothing that I could find that works like the Infinity.
F & P suggest the Opus 360 but it won't work at all without headgear. The pillows don't go up into the nose enough like the Infinity pillows.
There is the Nasal Aire prong which can be used without much headgear but it has all those tubes...and the prongs go much further up into the nostril.

Between the Opus and Aloha....I had better luck with the Aloha but of course that doesn't mean much. YMMV.
The Aloha is the newer of the 2.

If you like really minimal headgear and pillows....look at the P10 that I use (link in my equipment profile).
You are going to have to wear some sort of headgear....might as well be as little as possible. Plus the P10 venting is diffused and silent.

The only nasal pillow mask without headgear
the TapPap but it needs a mouth guard to stabilize the pillows.

Now I used this mask for well over a year until the P10 was released.. If you have good teeth and don't mind the mouth guard...it's a nice little mask and I would sometimes wake up and not notice the mouth guard or the pillows and it felt like normal daytime breathing was happening.
