I think I have had more power outages than cat paw accidents.

The on;y real cat issue I had was when I was traveling once. I travel with my cats, and I sometimes share a hotel room with a friend and her cats. This time, I was traveling with 2 of my cats and one of hers. In the middle of the night, this cat swatted my mask - wham! Totally surprised me. He took a second shot after I woke up.

I do keep my mask and machine put away during the day to reduce risk of issues. I have one cat who does like to puke in strange places. But that is my only real worry.

Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?

My cat is always trying to lay on the hose, so I'm trying to train her to sleep on the other side of me. So far she's been fighting me on this. lol

Your cat just posted on another forum that you have been fighting her attempts to train you to leave her alone when she lies on the hose.

Before I had xPAP, my cat did CPR on me each morning ..... to ensure I woke up to feed them.
I can see my crew doing this...

My daughter had a cat several years ago that was part Maine Coon. He was rather large, and would stand on my chest every morning and stare at me until I opened my eyes. Once I did, he would meow once, jump off the bed and head for his food bowl to be fed. I was the only one he would do this to.

We had a Manx that used to sleep directly in front of our wood stove in the living room. In the wee hours when the fire died down to coals, she would trundle upstairs and curl up in a loaf right on top of my dad's kidneys. Dad would wake up for a bathroom break and know it was time to feed the stove...
