It looks like they pulled the cheapest mask, and cheapest hose they could out of some old prop closet.
How do you know it wasn't John's personal machine and mask?

I don't, but I'd hope he could afford something better than that...

It would be odd for him to bring his personal mask and hose to the set when the props department would usually take care of it.
Maybe it's one of his spares. I don't know, but I'm sure he could afford as many as he wants.

On a side note... Who finds it easy to talk while wearing their "FF" XPAP Mask?
I have no problems talking, singing, humming, while wearing it but I have heard some people can't talk maybe cause they're not comfortable getting their vocal cords to vibrate with the added pressure.
Just a random thought was wondering how common it is to not be able to talk, if I was an exception or not.
Rest well.

I have no problems talking. But my husband can barely hear me with the mask on. So I try to get everything said before the mask goes on lol

I'd bet dollars to donuts that he DOES! If so many doctors diagnose OSA by body size/mass, etc., he would definitely be a good candidate for that type of diagnosis. Some years back, he lost LOTS of weight, but seeing these pictures from the show (which I didn't watch) he's gained quite a bit of it back. Maybe he found out that OSA causes weight gain and you don't "cure" OSA by weight loss.

You don't have to be poor to get lousy health care.
