Dedicated CPAP packing list

Post by D.H. » Tue Mar 27, 2018 12:16 pm

Does everybody keep a dedicated packing list for CPAP?

You need it to pack for planned travel or planned hospitalization. You need it even more to pack for emergency travel, hurricane evacuation, or emergency hospitalization. In the case of emergency hospitalization, you might need somebody else to pack for you!

DH, looking at your recent (and not so recent) posts,
the idea of a packing list seems to be an obsession with you.
You have brought up the subject MANY times.
We get the point.
When will you consider giving it a rest?

Decided to remove my opinion because it doesn't fit with the cool kids. 8)

Yes, the list is inside the travel bag, as are a couple of spare filters and nasal pillows.
Where is the list to find the list in the bag? Jim

I have gotten to the point that an assortment of necessities
either live in the travel case, in my suitcase, or in the car.
In an emergency, stuff needs to be READY--NOW.
Digging out a list and assembling various things is not always an option.
Assuming you will have time is foolish.

Nope just put it in the nice travel case that ResMed has provided, and each place has a nice little picture so even I can tell what needs to go in each little cubbie. But if a list makes you feel better go for it.

I keep an extra hose, water chamber, and mask in each of the carrying cases. We only need to pack the machine and power supply, and we're ready to go.

My bag has actual compartments with pictures on them. lol. It tells you exactly what goes in each section of the bag. There is my packing list.

If a compartment is empty then something is missing.....and the picture will tell me what it is.

Plus when I pack my cpap I lay my bag open on the bed then unplug the machine and put the entire machine on my bed next to the bag. Put each piece in the bag as I take it apart. I honest to god do not have any understanding of how I could leave something behind that way. If you are losing pieces that way......well I dont think a packing list is going to help.
