If I erase the data on the ResMed AirSense 10 in the Clinical Menu, does that also erase the Total Hours Used information and reset that back to 0 (even though the machine has some used hours on it) or does that number of used hours data stay as it it is?
Just curious. Thanks!

The machine hours accessed in the setting menu does not delete, so if you are sold or issued a "new" machine you can check to verify that claim. DMEs are notorious for calling used machines that have been returned and cleaned new.

Okay, that's kind of what I figured but I just wanted to know for sure. Thanks!

Erasing data history on just about all these machines will only erase the therapy hours and not the total machine use hours.
Machine blower hours or hours of use referring to just how many hours the machine has been used can only be reset at the factory level.
DMEs and patients can't roll back the mileage but they can change the trip (therapy) miles.

I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.
