RESMED CARD

Post by baker4 » Wed Mar 21, 2018 6:12 pm

Good Evening All,

Could someone please tell me where I can go to get the SIM card read? (RESMED). I located in Georgia, 30213. Thank you in advance.

It's not a SIM card, it's an SD card and any SD card should do. I don't think ResMed makes or supplies them anymore.

When I got my machine a year ago it came with an SD card but I specifically had to ask the DME for it. They were not going to give it to me.

CPAP.com says it still comes with a card.

Your post is a little confusing.

Are you looking for a card or looking for someone to read the card?

As others posted if just a regular SC card. I got one with my machine but most say 4 gig is plenty.

They don't include the SD card anymore because they want to encourage DMEs and doctors to use their AirView service and transmit the data wirelessly (plus, any patient who really needs an SD card can get it anywhere anyway).

If you look at the ResMed website it makes no reference anymore to an SD card being included with any of the current machines. CPAP.com either has old stock or they need to update their description.

The OP did not say he was looking for a card...He said he was looking for somewhere to get the card read..OP...If you have the card, you need to download the Sleepyhead software....then you can read the card yourself. Some doctors have the capability to read your card.

If your looking for a card reader to connect to your computer, try a retail electronics store, Amazon, new egg, etc. Many computers come with a built in reader.

Yes my Sleep Center told me to bring the SD card or the entire machine when I had my mandatory followup visit. I told this to the DMW tech and she was a little miffed saying Drs don't know they can get the data online or some such thing but she found a card and put it in.

Oddly the Sleep Coordinator called me up as part of maybe a 2 week follow up and told me they were looking at my stats and she was going to talk to the Sleep Dr on upping my max pressure remotly so they are looking at my data. So i'm' not sure why they wanted me to even have a card.

Most of the senior members here read their own card, do their own analysis and manage their own CPAP settings. (Using Sleepyhead software.)

I will not allow any DME or doctor to mess with my settings.
