egrandi,

Is a written transcript of Dr. Rapoport's lecture going to be available? If so where can one be obtained/viewed. It would be interesting if inconjuction with the lecture a link to the transcript could be posted so that those of us on the forum could comment regarding the material presented by Dr. Rapoport.
Sincerely,

REMINDER: I am bringing this former posted topic to the attention of the forum again as a reminder of the lecture to be held in DC on March 30th. I hope local forum members are able to attend.

Lduyer,

Are you going to be there? You seem to be really pushing ohter forum members to attend this lecture. If you are going why don't you say so? I'm going to be in the DC area that week, but the event seems to be more for insiders that us regular users.

I'm sorry. Yes, I plan to attend. I know Mikesus is planning to as well.
I'm not trying to push anybody, but I wanted to bring the topic back up, in case anyone there was interested, is all. I have no idea what it will be like.

I don't know if it's primarily for "insiders" but Ed Grandi who heads this thing, whatever it is, posted the announcement to our forum, so it must be for anyone who is at interested. I spoke with him when I called to attend (they say to call and reserve, but I doubt they'd turn away anyone who didn't call ahead). If you do attend and drive to it, there's a parking garage nearby, so if you go be sure to bring in the ticket and he will validate it. It's also three blocks from the Dupont metro subway station.

May not be a big group, but I'm not doing anything, so I thought I'd attend. Would be fun to meet Mikesus also. And fun to meet you too, if you attend.

So confess. Think you might attend?
How will we know you are you? Haha!

Remember, I am pushing NOTHING..! I don't even like to recommend movies to anyone, for fear they will hate me for it. So don't blame me if the lecture bores the heck out of you.

Well, I work until 5 and it will take me about an hour to get there. If you know of someplace nearby, that doesn't take too long, it might work. I could probably be there about 6, then go to the talk at 7.

Howdy,

Would anyone attending be willing to write up their impressions of the lecture and/or provide a transcript or a sound/video file that we can transcribe? We'd like to post as much information as possible as news so that all cpaptalkers can access it!

Johnny, who wonders why he signs his name when he's logged in.

Johnny, I am hoping to record it with a digital field recorder. (think radio interviews.) I can mp3 the file after. This is all assuming that recording will be allowed. (As it is a free event, I don't think that will be a problem)

I'm so behind the times. All my recorders are still tape.
I'm sure we'll snap up any printed material as well, and pass it along.

I will likely be there the earliest among us, for I get off work so early. May have to take a book with me. So if you decide on a nearby place, I'll try and be there.

(or go incognito at the lecture)
