I have been quite surprised that TSA inspections, of a ResMed ASV, generally get a second look because the X-ray scan gives a quite different look than some other xPAPs and TSA actually has noticed that they are a bit different than the standard xPAP.
In the couple of times I have traveled with the machine, it still takes a couple of quick runs through the x ray and the wipe down. No big hastle.
Glad to see that they notice.
DSM did a post months back showing a design award received by that model with gave an illustration of the innerworkings -- I'm not surprised that it appears different to an alert inspector.
