Do I need any prescription to buy the filters ?

The only thing you need a prescription for is the machine...no matter what the local DME tells you.

Hi Guest,

Just purchased my RemStar in Jan which has a 3 year plus 2 year extended warranty. I live in Canada and my supplier provides me with the white filters every 6 months free of charge as called for in the warranty.

Not sure yet but I think the problem is going to be that they will dole them out one at a time which is inconvenient for me. CPAP.COM sells them as a six pack I think and quite cheap so will probably go that route.

If your unit is under warranty you may want to check out if there is this type of benefit for you.

Or you can get them from Cpap.com, they are $14.
