M series vs Tank

I have been pleased with my M series. The water tank does not leak at all and it seems quiet to me. Actually I get a lot more noise from air passing through the mask than I do from the machine itself. My wife comments that it is quiet.

If you buy from cpap.com there is no need to worry about leakage. cpap.com took inventory of all the M series they had in stock when the "fix" from Respironics came out and purchased the "fix" for each M series in their inventory. I can't vouch for any other online or brick & mortar DMEs whether they have been conscientious enough to do the same or not.

Goshes, Paul B, its been a couple of months now since I talked to them. I was thinking it was a re-designed tank, but best you call them to get first hand information yourself. I have trouble remembering yesterday!!

I suppose I could always buy the insurance that would allow me to return the M if it's too loud
