Grey's Anatomy

Post by northernlights » Sat Jan 13, 2007 9:04 am

Hi everyone:

Just wondering if anybody else watches Grey's Anatomy (my wife makes me!). On the last show, Meredith was keeping McDreamy awake with her snoring. Wonder if she has apnea? What are the chances that she'll be hooked up to an xpap next week - probably won't be quite as sexy with a heated hose and full face-mask on!! What a great opportunity to publicize the condition, but I wouldn't hold my breath (of course thats why I'm on the machine to begin with!!). What do you think?

Cheers to all -

Steve.

I was watching it too and the first thing my friend said to me when Meridith was snoring was "Apnea!!!"

That would be funny to see Meridith and McDreamy snuggling up with her mask.

I noticed that, too. I wonder if they will use it to at least educate the audience on the potential seriousness if the snoring symptom, or if they will simply play it for laughs.

I saw it too. As a person who is still dealing with my own ego and having to wear a mask everynight to bed I can only hope they will use it to show a "non stereo type" answer for snoring.

Grey's Anatomy, is my #1 fav show followed by House M.D., I archive them all and am presently downloading season 3 eph 11. I'll be all caught in two hours. I currently have 1200 hours of video stored. Jim

Nah, it's too much to hope for. This is Hollywood, after all. They tried the Breath-Right strip and that didn't work, so next episode they'll probably "cure" her problem by sewing a tennis ball to the back of her pajamas... or he'll get ear plugs... and that will be the end of that.

My second favorite show after HOUSE, my first thought was, Dr. Mcdreamy must be a quack for not hooking her up to the hose. I new she should have chose MCSTEAMY!!!!!!!

Steve,
I just watched that episode of Grey's Anatomy (I had it recorded) and I thought the same thing about Meredith's snoring. Somehow I don't see them showing Meredith with these lovely masks on. - and she wouldn't wake up with her hair looking great either. (Not that it looks all that good)

You all are too funny! I saw the episode and immediately thought APNEA, and then figure once the strip didn't work - they'll give him earplugs, or give her a magic position to sleep in, or she'll work out some issue and the snoring will go away magically.

I'd tape the episode if they put her in a mask, just to see what her hair looks like inthe morning.

I missed that episode.

But I did see the breathe strip she was wearing this show.

Before apnea comes up, I think they would need to show were being tired, sleepy, confused or memory problems.

I would love the show to show apnea on a thin female, because it is often missed.
I can do this, I will do this.
